I DO NOT want to build my own :)

Looking at buying this:

Dell Inspiron 5675
AMD Ryzen 7 1700X 3.4GHz
8GB DDR4 2400
128GB SSD boot Plus 1TB HDD
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 2GB
DVD-RW, Wifi, BT 4.1
Windows 10 Pro
460w

Does it need any extras? Bigger fan(s), PSU, RAM, etc? Links? Suggestions?

I won't be doing too big of gaming sessions but it would be nice to know I can if I want. I just want a solid cpu that will last and can handle a bevy of operations at once.I don't think I'll be overclocking.

Going for $800 or I can upgrade to 16gb RAM for another $100

For me, having a fast processor is more important than a top-o-the-line video card

Do I get it right, that you reuse your Dell case and power supply?
Yes, a new power supply could come handy, look for Corsair CX 450 or Seasonic m12ii-520!
8GB should be enough, but choose higher frequency modules! The difference between a 1600 and 1700x is marginal, http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/AMD-Ryzen-7-1700X-vs-AMD-Ryzen-5-1600/3915vs3919 you could save some bucks there.

If you want to invest into a better CPU cooler, let us know the height clearance in your case. You can get good aftermarket units such as the
Thermalright Macho, Scythe Mugen 5, be quiet! Dark Rock 3

That's a pretty decent combo for $800. I assume you're talking US dollars? I think you're implying that this is a pre-built system from DELL?

8GB of RAM is the bare minimum. I'd suggest 16GB, especially since you suggested you wanted to do lots of things at the same time.

The OS will be installed on the SSD, which is a requirement in my book.

It's a Ryzen 7 1700X, so you don't have to worry about overclocking. It's already got the higher base clock.

If you're dead set against building your own, then I think you'll be happy with this one.
