New RAM compatibility

Hello.

I have Asus P8H61-MX motherboard, there are two slots for RAM, and I've got just one Kingston DDR3 4gb stick in it. I will upload screenshots since I really cannot recognize the speed.....
Anyways, I want to upgrade my ram, and I am planning to buy 8gb more.
So is there ANYTHING that i have to take care of when buying, how to make sure that it will work? To buy of the same brand (for example to buy Kingstons ram), what speed should i buy and what should i look out for...

This is what you need. So you can get 2-8 gig sticks and go to 16...or two 4s and go to 8.

2 x DIMM, Max. 16GB, DDR3 1333/1066 MHz Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory

as far as brands....you generally don't need to "match" memory manufacturers etc unless you are doing something fancy...just make sure the specs match.

What needs to match is DDR3...non ecc...un buffered....and as far as the speed...I think you can get either speed...and the motherboard will go to the speed of the slowest stick...but the best would be to match the stick you have.
