Are there any gaming laptops which are light and have great battery life (>8 hrs non gaming)?

Hi,

I already own an Alienware 13 R3.
But I am kind of tired of its shenanigans now and am looking for an upgrade.

The upgrade I am looking for is not exactly performance wise. I am pretty happy with the GTX 1060.

I am unhappy about the poor battery life. And the weight of the laptop.

I am looking at the Surface Book 2 with GTX 1060 and the new Gigabyte Aero 15X with Max - Q 1070.

Are there any other alternatives which are light and have great battery life (>8 hrs non gaming)?

My max budget is 3200 CAD (excluding taxes).

More details (unnecessary to the question, but relevant) follow:

My AW13R3 has these specs:
i7 - 6700 HQ
GTX 1060 - 6 GB
16GB RAM
non - OLED 1080p screen

Issues with my AW13R3:

(Before someone suggests I get a replacement... this is out of warranty now).

My gaming has become pretty light. Around half an hour per day. But I read books on my laptop all the time using Calibre and Kindle.
Color Calibration is good but not great -> I want slightly better accuracy.
There is light bleed at high brightness -> Light bleed is irritating and distracting at times (at times = mostly when I am gaming because I use high brightness then).
It doesn't have a touchscreen -> This is not mandatory, but my work laptop has one and I find that useful.
Thermals are not good -> I can't keep this on my lap if I am gaming and it starts spinning up the fans even when I am not gaming. I have to undervolt when I game to keep the temps low.
Battery life is not good at all -> I do an 80 to 30% cycle and that lasts just 2 hours without gaming after applying a bunch of power saving measures.
