Kraken X62 pushing first RAM slot

I just noticed after installing my new RAM that my CPU cooler was slightly pushing the RAM to the side a little. It is now touching the RAM module in the second DIMM. Because it is being held up by the second DIMM and is only being pushed by one of the two fluid tubes I was wondering if I should really be worried about this. The computer boots up fine without a hitch

Solution

Over time this can cause the contacts too fail if the pressure is too much.

Do you think this is too much pressure? From what I can tell the heatspreadder is really the only thing moving, as it appears the DIMM itself seem to be only slightly bent.

That should be fine. However can't you just rotate the cooler any direction you want? That should not be an issue with the kraken.

My OCD will absolutely NOT let me do such a heinous crime. And yes I know I can turn the logo off but I'll look too hard at it and faintly see it anyway because thats just how I am :) thanks for replying BTW, really helped me out

Yeah it's still pushing it a tad, not too much. I haven't had any problems so far but let's not jinx it.
