Hy!
I have a Z270x ultra gaming motherboard but 2 ram slots (2-4)are not working. I can put my G.skill rams only into the 1-3 slot. Why?

Solution
It could be a few different things.

1. Reseat your CPU. The pins for the 2 and 4 slots may not be making proper contact. Look for bent pins, too.

2. The slots are dead.

3. The BIOS needs to be updated.

4. The RAM is not on the QVL list for the motherboard. (Unlikely since it works in the other slots but weird things happen).

Thanks the fast answer!
My ram is a G.Skill Ripjaws V 2400mhz 2x4gb
When I put them into the 2-4 slots the pc always restarting and black screen on the monitor.
Sorry for my bad english...

If you only have 2 sticks thats normal. Some boards require to first have certain slots filled or they won't work.

Yes! On my motherboard one pin is moved out and I removed it carefully. After this I reseat my cpu and every ram slot is fully working. Thanks a lot!! :)
