Does cost diffirence mean quality-performance?

Im saving up to buy a Gt1050, but i found a XFX HD 7850 thats a bit cheaper. Both have the same specifications but im wondering if diffirence in cost means diffirence in performance.

The specs for those two cards are completely different in every way. Core count, frequency, memory bandwidth, etc. And as said above, even if they were the same you can't just compare the numbers on paper for two cards from completely different lineups.

Edit: Ah, you must have been looking at FLOPS. Same thing applies, looking at compute power isn't a good way to judge gaming performance especially when comparing two disparate cards.
