Hello,

I wanna buy a gaming laptop around 1000$ which supports mid and pro level gaming.
Could you please tell me which laptop is best. Here are some laptops that I have selected:-

1) Acer Predator Helios 300
2) HP Omen
3) Asus ROG GL553ve
4) Lenovo Legion Y520
5) Acer Nitro 5
6) MSI G series
7) Samsung Odessey
8) Alienware 13
9) Razer Blade Stealth Pro

I am not mentioning the exact product, just the brand and its series.I am confused of much varieties.

I want a PC in 1000$ which can support all games at high and very high settings.
How much RAm is needed for it?
How much FPS will it give in high end games like GTA V, watchdogs 2 and overwatch at normal settings at 1080p?

Why is Asus ROG Strix is price much less than other products with similar specifications and more features( personally I like it more than others)?

Can you show me the exact laptop which should I buy having at least 1050 graphics, 8 gb ram and 1gb HDD?

External question:- Does all laptop support External GPU and it gives better performance?

So, there are many questions asked here, I would be glad if u answer it.

Thank You.....

I personally reccomend the HP Omen, really good performance.
Ram is not a problem iñ these laptops because they have the perfect things- 8 gb ram, this is the best in price, and performance.
FPS is a topic gamers sometimes fight over. FPS-Frames per second. Some people with lower end laptops (me) like the framerate of 30 fps, which is the lowest i allow, because the human eye sees ,,25 fps'' if you get lower you see it in pictures, thats the problem so 60 is the most common and most stable fps. Getting 50 or 40 fps is ok , sometimes even 20 fps is ok if you don't somehow see laggy is ok
And- E-GPU'S are a no. You need a modern laptop with thunderbolt port to do it, or if you have lost your mind you can swap out your wi-fi adapter for a...

You need a modern laptop with thunderbolt port to do it, or if you have lost your mind you can swap out your wi-fi adapter for a dock (more in a sec) which will be sticking out of your laptop like the eifel tower. External gpus are expensive, unpractial and stupid. So first you need a dock (around 60 euro, hard to find if you are in a weird country) the gpu and a power supply literally a desktop but missing some components. I also wanted one but i saw the facts and stuff and now i think it is stupid, if you want to carry 2 ,,pc's go on

The title "Best Mid-Level Gaming Laptop" keeps changing, as prices fluctuate, and new models are launched.

In 1000$ budget, if you research well, you can get something upto Nvidia 1070 (If you research really well), or atleast Nvidia 1060 3GB or 6GB.

Yes, the market is filled with lot of variants, and you have to be careful about things like (Lack of OS i.e. no Windows 10 pre-installed), HDD being only storage (You can get 128/256GB SSD + 1TB HDD easily in this price bracket), etc. Careful what you pay for.

As far as I know, all laptops do not support external GPU just yet (don't confuse that with discreet GPU (which itself means its not internal Intel GFX)). Very few support it. But I'm not 100% sure.
