Will a Pentium G2020 bottleneck a GTX 1050? Will it run games in 1080p on high-ish settings (both new and old games)?
I am upgrading an old pc. Specs:
Intel Pentium G2020
Gtx 1050 (non-ti)
4 gb RAM ddr3
500 gb HDD
I will upgrade RAM to 16 and get an SSD in the future, maybe an i7 cpu too; A Pentium G2020 is what I can afford now and is totally better than the PC's original CPU. I got the GTX 1050 from my uncle at the price of 105 dollars.

Solution
Since the 2020 is a dual core CPU there is a chance that some modern games will not start, or run well. That being said the 2020 should't bottleneck the 1050 by too much, I'm basing this assumption on the fact that a Q6600 is the slowest processor that pairs with a 1030, but it definitley is the weakest link aside form the RAM.
