my psu is seasonic s12ii 520w, when the power is back I wait for 10 minutes to or just keep an eye if the power is stable then I will turned on my pc because I turn off the avr switch and outlet switch after black out, since pure sine ups is so expensive I have no choice to accept my fate but my brother have a 9 years old hp dc7700sff and it always cautgh by black out and that computer still kicking no dmg from hard drive, my question can my psu handle so many black outs?

Solution
Current PSUs are pretty good at triggering the appropriate protections to prevent damage to the hardware. Seasonic makes arguably the best PSUs on the planet and their protections are very good.

That doesn't mean that you shouldn't buy a surge protector though. It only takes once to ruin your hardware, and while Seasonic tries to cover up, it's still not something you want to put your system through.

thank you sir I am so paranoid about my pc, but sadly I live in a province and only two prongs here I don't know If I could put a ground by by myself the two prongs here are neutral and live, maybe I will ask a local electricians or you could teach me sir how to ground
