Dropped Hp all in one computer. I now have lovely blue striped lights on my monitor. Help. How do I get my docs back. Didnt back up. Stupid I know.

Take the hard drive out.
Connect it to some other system as a secondary drive.
Copy what you need.
Pay attention to my sig pic.

If it is a laptop it is probably just the screen is damaged. If it has a SATA drive and it isn't damaged, you can take it out and put it in another computer and backup the files.
