Hello,

short story (sorry for bad English)
the last pc i built was a amd k6-3, since then i bought pre-build systems... it seemed like fun to build a system from scratch again, i thought i did my research, but i'm at the point i must admit i missed the boat... thought to easy and now i hope someone wants to help me ;)
i bought a asus maximus hero motherboard, a 8700k processor and g.skill ddr4 4133 cl19 2x8gb ram...
i just learned that i completely missed the interpretation of the supported ram....
question is, can i get this to work or have i to order new ram and if that's the case... any suggestions?

thanks in advance

Solution
As long as you bought non-ECC, unbuffered RAM it will work, although can't promise at such high speed (but the board specification shows 4133 as supported so there is a chance).
