Hi guys i just noticed that the B360M are now out and finally happy because i wanted to build a newer system for a long time now and i was wondering since my original intentions is getting the i3 8350K if it can be overclocked with that board and also for the H310M was also thinking if i should maybe just get the i5 8400 because no matter which i go for they would be the same price but overall which would last the longest as well or should i spend a little extra buying the i5 8500 with the H310M boards and also this would be the first time if i was to overclock with the 8350K as well since i have never done it before so ultimately what would be the best choice and thanks if you can help out.

P.S. please keep the discussion solely based on what i am asking here because i know some people might start telling me to get a Ryzen system which while Ryzen is nice and all i still have a bit of doubts since i have been using Intel my whole life (except for my laptop which has a Phenom II X4 N930 but i use that for light gaming and school work so).

8500 if you can, or 8400. It will not only perform better in certain games, but will last longer too... https://www.pcgamer.com/intel-i5-8400-review-the-best-new-gaming-cpu-in-years/
And, you cannot overclock the b360 board. You will need a z370 board with the 8350k and a decent cooler as well for overclocking.

Ok thanks and i recently did my build on Newegg (just waiting till i have more money first) and the total cost of the system is 650$ which is an i5 8400, 16gb DDR4 2400MHz memory 650w PSU and a Cooler Master MasterBox Lite 3.1 and for the GPU i already own a GTX 1050 Ti so i wouldn't really need a new one for a couple of years.
Also the Motherboard i went for is the Asus Prime H310M-E which is affordable and since i won't be overclocking at all i find that board would be more than enough for what i would need to do which is gaming and streaming.
In the future i am planning on getting more USB ports because that one only has a total of 4 USB's and making sure i don't use up too much on my main drive cause later on i plan on replacing it for a M.2 SSD since that board has one on it and at least 240gb cause 120gb i know wont be enough storage for my OS and other programs.
