HI everyone,

my friend gave me his PC whilst he is going on holiday for 3 months... when he gave it to me I noticed that cam warned me that the CPU was running at 100 degrees Celsius, I then check it in three other CPU monitoring software and they all said the same. I checked the bios and found the pump from his AiO is not running.

He is using the Cooler Master ML240L. The pump is plugged into the SYS_FAN2 and the radiator fans are plugged into the CPU_FAN. He has the Gigabyte Z370 HD3 motherboard.

Specs (not detailed):
-8700K
-Gigabyte Z370 HD3
-Cooler Master
-Gigabyte GTX 1080

Please help me to figure out how to turn on the pump and where to plug everything in. BTW, I reapplied thermal paste, checked all the cables, etc...

Thanks for your help in advance,
Sean

Thank for the reply, I'm not using it right now... Do you think using a molex to 3 pin adapter would be a way of starting the pump (if it isn't broken)?

I found an old stock cooler from one of my really old builds and put that on, now it the CPU is running at 40 (idle) and 60 at 50% load. It was a pump failure. I will tell my friend to get a warranty exchange.

Thanks for the help toshibitsu!
