I would like to know if you water cool your VRM for a future build. I would if it doesn’t void any warranties, but I don’t know if it does or not

Solution
It’s up to the manufacturer to decide if they are going to honour it or not. If you get water damage, no they will not honour it. if you blow up the vrm while oc, I think unless they can proof that you are oc-ing the system, you are okay. Always ship back the Mobo with the original heatsink installed.
If the motherboard already comes with a water block on the VRM MOSFETs like the GIGABYTE GA-Z270X-Gaming 9 or the GA-Z270X-Gaming 8 then no it wouldn't void the motherboard's warranty.

If you mod the motherboard then the warranty is void. I consider the replacement of the stock VRM MOSFET heatsink with any add-in replacement cooler a mod.
