Upgrading CPU/Mobo combo

I want to upgrade my CPU but after doing some research I found out that I have mobo/cpu combo and that this motherboard won't work with any other CPU so I would like to buy a new motherboard and a CPU now. I am running PR:BF2 (also Watch Dogs gives me BSOD because CPU overheats) with less then 30FPS and a few members on the forum there told me that my problem is mostly my CPU since 3GB of ram is fine (I have 4) and my GPU should be alright.

If you get a new CPU and Mobo, you will need DDR4 RAM. That chipset is too old for anything relevant now imo.

PSU is EE-ATX-500W-IR

I think I will wait a few more months and make a whole new PC build. I will definitely ask here when the time comes. Thanks for the very quick response

Before you upgrade anything, replace that PSU asap. Can't find certification and generally, units which are not known tend to be the worst quality and not reliable at all.
