CPU fan connection not working

Its Asus z97-m plus board

After booting system (win 10) it told me that CPU fan is not working, tried out other fans on it, its dead.

I updated to latest BIOS version yesterday could that be it?
Or is it a PSU issue?
Or connection on the board just burn out or something...had no issues before...its still under warranty but I want to check other possibilities first.

Other connections (there are 2 case fan pins) are ok but I did have one other weird glitch...usb3 stopped responding today (mose&keyboard) once in os and once again while in BIOS....for now its working ok.

Usualy there is microchip problem (near FAN connector, 8pin chip)

Where did you get the warning from : Bios Post or under windows 10?

1- Check Bios CPU fan speed and settings.
2- if 1 is good and No Bios Post warning about CPU fan: check when windows 10 is loaded whether you have a running software managing your CPU fan speed and adjust it accordingly

I got it from Bios Post, it wont let mi go into OS unless i stop monitoring it in BIOS.
Tried plugging other fans into it, its dead, other board connections are working ok.
Its not BIOS, I changed it to some other version, still not working.
Only thing left is to try it on other PSU i guess...and after that to repair, luckily still under warranty.

that's weird.are your running any overclock? I had some USB ports stop working until I deactivated Board -CPU overclock

No, i5 4670k not clocked. CPU fan connection was used for 4 120 fans from Liquid Freezer 240 (like in instruction manual for it), pump was (and still is) on case fan. It worked like that for some 2y without problem.
The thing I'm afraid of is that PSU is starting to go down and that caused motherboard malfunction.

That explains it, 4 fans connected to the same mobo fan header : that's some good ampers had been drawn through it !

Well, its by instructions in manual for the cooler, they all combine to a single connector and it goes into CPU fan header.
Didn't know that could burn it, I thought fans don't draw that much power since Arctic designed it to be used that way.
