Hi, I am looking to build a PC soon to be used primarily for gaming (Overwatch, Fortnite, and Civilization VI), 3d modeling (Solidworks and Blender), and likely a bit of rendering (Blender). I am on a tight budget, around $500-$600, however going a little above would be fine. I have been looking at the ryzen 5 1600 and the ryzen 5 2400g, for the sake of their affordability and the 2400g's integrated graphics so that I wouldn't have to worry about the high graphics card prices for the time being. However pcpartpicker.com has been giving me incompatibility errors with almost every motherboard that I've tried with the 2400g. I was hoping to get some recommendations for components and thanks in advance!

Solution
Thats due to they might have a old bios that wouldnt recognize the CPU.
But you should be ok, now most of the motherboards on the market might already have the most updated bios.

Awesome, thanks! Do you have an idea on how this will do performance wise with the programs and tasks that I noted?

SSD and HDD and a 1050Ti. SSD is only 120 gigs so may fill up fast so have to be careful. The Ryzen 3 1200 is 4 cores 4 threads unline above post which has 4 cores 6 threads or so, the slight sacrifice nets you the 1050Ti however.
