Solution
Hellfires idea is an option.

However if you've already ordered that list from aria I'd be happy with that.

That's pretty rock solid quality wise.

Okey doke, read good things about this guy:

520W Seasonic S12II-520 Bronze Series, 80PLUS Bronze, Dual Rail 20A, 1x120mm Silent Fan, Fully Wired, ATX PSU

Will this do the job?

Thanks!

Ryan

Stick with the corsair cx450m (same Price) or the cx550 (£5 more) .
Theyre more suited to todays system usage power wise.

The seasonic 'was' a good unit back in the day , its from 2010 thpugh & is outdated spec wise nowadays.

Also , id take the asrock b360 pro 4 & i3 8100 myself , its £5 less than the msi board combo & is just plain a better board.

You could save some money buying a couple if items from other retailers you know.
Scan are fairly expensive on psu & ram.

Thanks for that,

Just received my confirmation email from Aria. I'm happy that what I have bought should be a good place to start all round :)

Appreciate you guys taking the time to help a noob out!

^ to be fair the palit 1050ti was killer deal at £143, that's sub retail price before the mining fiasco hit.

Partpicker doesn't show their superpecials or allow for delivery costs.

Everything from aria is only going to be £12 delivery or so.

Good shop aswell,excellent customer service.

Yeah to be fair a friend of mine recommended aria a couple years back when I quizzed him on his rig. For some reason I just started using scan recently, probably because of the save basket feature, in doing so I kinda blinded myself to other retailers/ comparison sites, assuming all rrp to be equal across sellera. So glad I asked on here before going ahead with my first draft.

Looking forward to learning more about building as I go, and giving RB6 Siege a blast on a PC!

I paid for dpd access point delivery last time I used them - there's a shop about 5 minutes from where I live , £5.70 small orders , £12.10 bulk orders.

Barely ever in so it saves the hassle of a missed delivery.

Scan lost favour with me a few years back , I had 6 pc's to get out xmas for customers, ordered stuff well in adcancw a couple of weeks prior & they ****** me about big time.
Had everything but the cases within 2 days , the cases came on December 22nd & I had to build , test & send out 6 systems by courier all in a 12 hour timescale.

Thay have a bad habit of listing stock they dont actually have (or at least they used to at busy times)

Gah, thats horrible, not nice being on the receving end of Xmas let downs. Not a good position to put you in at all mate. Totally understand your position with them!

Shouldve thought ahead and had it delivered to work, should be alright though for someone being home. Just happy to finally have the ball rolling of years of wanting to build one.
