The games I tried with their Unstable FPS:

Here's my only settings available on my Radeon Settings..

- Wait for Vertical Refresh: Off, unless application specifies

- OpenGL Triple Buffering: Off

- Shader Cache: AMD Optimized

- Tessellation Mode: AMD Optimized

- GPU Workload: Graphics

- Chill: Off

Other Windows/Acer Settings:

Cool Boost Technology: ON

Processor Power Management: 100% (Minimum & Maximum)

Switchable Dynamic Graphics: Maximize Performance

AMD Graphics Power Settings: Maximize Performance

I really have no idea how to fix my problem.. as you can see the games I played there's low graphic games and still unstable fps

maybe because I got 4GB Ram only?

I run games and its having unstable fps already from first to last so im not sure if its my temperature...

Please help..

I had a laptop with Nvidia 840M 2GB and it can run dota and lol at 60fps stable as well as counter strike.. meaning my 840M 2GB is better than my RX 550 4GB?

Quite the contrary. Despite being low end, it should easily be able to run the games that he mentioned with atleast above 60fps on high settings. And he mentioned as well that changing graphics quality doesn't change the fps he gets.

Now I'm going to make a guess and say that your issues are probably due to V-Sync. Did you try turning v-sync on or off? Does it make a difference? Try turning on "wait for vertical refreshing" and see if that makes any difference.

Also are you sure that you are using the RX 550, and not the integrated R7 graphics? The integrated R7 graphics is notoriously slow.

Sounds like CPU throttling. If changing graphics doesn't change average fps, its definitely a CPU related problem.

Have you checked for temps while at 100% load? Your cpu has high turbo boost, but for longer periods of time it might decrease because of security reasons.

I tried vsync on/off same result.. about integrated, I really don't know if it's really running my current 550 or R7, it shows on switchable graphics, my games is running the AMD 500 Series.

So it's not a thermal throttling.

How about the CPU and GPU utilization during the gaming sessions? Are they always maxed out at 98-100%?

(many people has this problem i will explain below)
Before you check, I suppose not, because 60'C for a laptop is insanely cool. Gaming laptops should go up to 90'C in temperature when you're trying to get every bit of performance out ot it. I would recommend setting your PC's power plan to 'maximum performance' through windows and check the dedicated GPU's software, maybe there is also a switch there which is holding back your performance (i'm not familiar with AMD's control panel, but you might find something there)

I found myself on the same issue, I tried it all, from uninstall all drivers, to update bios and reset the factory S.O. but nothing worked...
until I thought about spectre... I used an app called inSpectre to disable the patch and it solves the problem... maybe you should try...
