Hello, my birthday is around the corner and i was asked for what i would like and i thought about upgrading my gaming pc since it is getting quite out of date with it's GTX 745 :p So i have been looking at some gpu's and also some motherboards and cpu's. Right now i was thinking about upgrading my gpu since that's the one that is mostly bottlenecking my games.

Current Build:
GTX 745
AMD FX 670K
12 GB DDR3 Ram
Windows 10 Pro
MSI Orchid-S Motherboard
180 W PSU

First i was looking at this GPU: MSI GTX 1050 Ti
https://www.komplett.dk/product/952822/hardware/pc-komponenter/grafikkort/msi-geforce-gtx-1050-ti-4gb-gaming?gclid=Cj0KCQjw2KHWBRC2ARIsAJD_r3fP_z_1kf9HrA1wvnR2UoC35f2BafORFvoLOCOPV6wDkKfaPaSSqyAaAoKCEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds&dclid=CKiphfLIqNoCFZWRGAodYVABtQ#

But then i also thought about others things that i would to upgrade in the future.
I also do know i need to upgrade my PSU and i way maybe thing about 450 W PSU ?
I did read about my motherboard and it should support the GTX 1050 ti by MSI.
So i was googling around and some of my choices were between MSI or ASUS
Should i go for a matching Motherboard and GPU?
Which would you recommend. I read that MSI GPU's have a higher clock speed and are slightly more silent compared to ASUS.
But i also heard good about ASUS motherboards that theyre durable and have good UEFI n stuff.

Btw the cpu i am also going for in the future would be an Intel I5 8400.

So which Brand for my GPU would you guys recommend and which motherboard would be best for my build ?

Mainstream H370, B360 and H310 Chipset for Coffee Lake CPUs have gone up for sale in Thailand. You should be able to buy one soon.

I would suggest out start out with a new bare PC case instead of a HP case. I would get something with better cooling than a HP case.

You don't mention size, form-factor of motherboard your looking for. With a 180 W PSU, your case must be a slim size which won't be compatible with much of anything.

I think it is a uATX but i tried to measure and i think it would just fit, but i was also thinking of a new tower, but if it could wait i would like to. The motherboards i have been looking at are the z370 series from Asus and MSI and i also do believe my psu is a normal size since i have other even older pc cases with the same size psu but they have a ATX Motherboard. Would you maybe like a picture of the insides of my current build ?

definitely... get a new PC CASE that you can fall in love with. Make sure it's sexy and supports all the latest PC hardware and gadgets. Once you have your PC Case, you'll get a better idea what to build.

For the motherboard, ASUS mobo.. their support/drivers site (US site) is either down or no they have no support. You want to choose a mobo that was a good support.

it's up to you :)

I'm currently working with an NZXT h200i CASE, it has that weird Ikea vibe to it

I did some research on some good pc cases of 2018 and i think i would go for an ATX since it should be backwards useable ? Like i can still use my uATX with it right ?
So i was looking at these
NZXT H440 and Corsair Carbide Series 100R
Both look pretty nice and are affordable.
Which one do you think would be best ?

I really like the matte black with a window. So if i like that and it is affordable should i go for this one ?

The site i found it on sait the pros was:
Sleek and minimal design with several color options
High-quality build
Convenient cable management
Plenty of space for additional cooling

and cons:
Heavy
Interior is a little cramped, more so if radiators are installed

I wont be moving this alot and i dont really think the second would be a problem.
