Hello,
My computer randomly shuts down while playing games.
It depends on game that i am playing, like i can play games like Mass effect 2 and 3 for hours without any issue.
But when i play games like Witcher 3, Rise of the tomb Raider, my pc shuts down after like 1 hour or even less of gaming, and if refuses to start again unless i unplug my power supply from my wall socket, and turn it on again.

I cannot even play this games at lowest settings.

My pc components:

CPU : i7 6700
GPU : MSI Gaming X 1060 6GB
RAM : 16GB DDR4
Motherboard : Asus H170 Pro gaming
PSU : Corsair VS650
CPU Cooler : Noctua NH-D15S

Idle temperatures :
CPU : 34 degrees
GPU : 45 degrees

Temperature while playing Rise of the Tomb Raider : (Lowest Settings)
CPU : 45
GPU : 63 degrees

I have did almost everything, like cleaning my pc and even replacing thermal paste in CPU and GPU.

I think, it's my PSU as i have did a quick search on google, and it seems like VS series is not that good.

Can anyone please provide me with any suggestions.
Is it my PSU or something else is wrong with my system?

Any kind of help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

i think the HX750 will be excellent for you . The cooler master V series is also excellent but as you are gonna buy a 1080 later and to be future proof i would take the HX for the sweet extra 100 w.. Heres the full review of the HX 750

read it and decide.. Theres also the Corsair AX...

Feel free to use this trier list, as mentioned above shoot for 450W!
http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

Budget options are the Corsair CX 450 or the Seasonic seasonic m12 ii 520W

By unplugging the power supply either the measured and stored temperature values get cleared or some capacitors get discharged. I hope it is not your motherboard and getting a better PSU will solve the problem. Have you tried swapping the unit with another, borrowed one?

I really think he should get at a 550 W+ bronze PSU.. this way hem will have a major headroom for upgrades and and getting a certified PSU means he will not have any crashes and deliver stable power to the costly components.. I thought he has a 1080.. a 550 watt psu should be enogh for a 1060 build

Thank you.

@zoltan.boese
No, i have not tried that, i will get a PSU from my friend and update it here, as soon as possible.
I really hope that it's not my motherboard.
I don't think that it is shutting down because of heat related issues.
As, i have tried to create a log using HWiNFO, and temperatures seem to be normal there for CPU and GPU.

Here's a link to that log file.

And thank you for that link, i will see what fits into my budget.
I don't want to cheap out this time.
I think, i can manage up to 100 dollars.
I will create a list of available PSU here at my place as soon as possible.

@Master FURQAN
Thank you.
I am actually planning to upgrade my GPU to a 1080 or 1080TI in future, but not right now.
This is why i went for a 650W PSU, just to at a safer side.

@Zerk2012
Thank you for the suggestions.
I will see whether any of those PSU are available here and update it as soon as possible.

Thank you for the help.
