Hello, everyone, I'm planning to buy a new ram I already have g.skill ddr3 2x4 1600 bus 1.5v cl9 kit installed in my A1 A3 Slots and the only option available In my country is Kingstone hyperx 4gb 1600 bus cl10 1.5v and it's also a separate ram so can I get 2 of those and mount it in my B2 B4 Slots will it work without any problem ?

Mixing and matching RAM does not always work, even if it is RAM of the same model. This is why RAM is sold in kits as they are tested to work together. With that being said, the does not mean it wont work, it is just not guaranteed to work. I would try it, but make sure you get the RAM from a vendor with a good return policy just in case it does not work.

As long as the RAMS are the same type.
I have on my system 4GB PC2 g.skill and 4BG PC2 patriot, my system works fine as dual channel. if you have different speed then the lower one the RAMs will run at.

The slightly different cl ratings may cause the faster RAM to be dropped down to the slower RAM's cl speed.

Depending on your system, it might instead cause all the RAM to drop to 1333 down from 1600 (that happened to me in one OEM Dell system).

It should still work together and likely run in dual-channel mode . . . no guarantees, but it couldn't hurt to give it a shot.
