I'm new to PC gaming and looking at buying a decent gaming laptop.
I'm torn between 3 laptops, they are all selling around the same price ish. They are almost the same specs.
The laptops are:
Asus ROG STRIX Core I7-7700HQ 16GB 1TB + 256GB SSD GTX 1070 15.6" G-Sync Windows 10 Gaming Laptop
17.3" ASUS ROG STRIX GL702VS-GC033T, FHD G-SYNC, i7 7700HQ, 16GB DDR4, 256GB M.2 NVMe SSD+1TB HDD, 8GB GTX 1070, Win10
17.3" MSI GE72MVR 7RG Apache Pro-064, FHD 120Hz, i7 7700HQ, 16GB DDR4, 256GB M.2 SATA SSD+1TB HDD, 8GB GTX 1070, Win10
So the 15.6 Asus has 120hz with g sync. The 17.3 Asus has 60hz with g sync but the msi has 120hz with no g sync. Now I've seen a few forums online about the Asus overheating? Does anyone have these laptops and could help me decide? Would tearing be an issue on the msi laptop without g sync? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.
