Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 32ohms vs 80 ohms

Hi, I am transitioning from the 'gaming' headsets to audiophile grade headphones. I got a question concerning the ohms as it's something for sound. Will my motherboard's audio chip [( Realtek® ALC892 Codec) from MSI B350 PC Mate] be able to power the 80 ohms enough from the Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO without noticing that I would need an external amp? If not, can you recommend an amp that would be able to get the job done? Or should I stick to the 32 ohms version since I'm just gaming and listening to music the whole day. (mostly EDM and pop).

Solution
I'd be hesitant to try and drive 80Ohms out of onboard; best case you'll lose maximum volume, on the worst case audio quality will be poor. I'd stick with the 32Ohm variant.

The difference should be small enough to be merely a matter of adjustment - however I would consider upgrading with even a small external device. By the way, amps are overrated relative to DACs (sound chips) or vice versa DACs are underrated. One can do the test with an amp to the internal soundcard - it will probably still sound like shit... Excuse the expression. That is what I have experienced in my testing, and suspected in the nebulous, schematic rhetoric of "Amp > DAC", for example, or, basically - a usual trick in anything - "how would you notice? Blah blah."

That said, the Beyerdynamics are said to profit from higher ohms versions. It makes them tighter, less sharp (though they still are). I already mentioned that this should be merely a matter of small loudness adjustments. If you have serious trouble in that regard (which would both be odd and speak for another external or internal soundcard anyway), I suspect you can send it back.
