compatibility i7 6700k with a b150m mainboard

Hello i got a b150m-c asus mb with an i5 6400 cpu
Can i upgrade to a i7 6700k or at least a 6700 one?
On the windows registry my bios vers is : 1801
On the asus site it says i need this version or above(same version listed for my current cpu i5 6400): Core i7-6700K (4.0GHz, 4C, HT, L3:8M, GT2, 91W, rev.R0) 0308
Will i be ok? Thanks.

thanks for ur reply, i don't need overclocking and the difference of clock base between these 2 matters to me, so i'll buy the 6700k

i plan on buying something like this one Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, i play only cs go every now and then; thanks for the reply
