Boot into safe mode only

Ok. Have an old hard drive with xp installed and I plugged it into another pc which was running vista. I can boot into safe mode but when I try to boot normally I get the blue screen of death..... Any ideas???

It never goes well when you swap a hard drive in that has Windows set up for a different computer.
Your solutions:
A: Wipe the XP drive and reinstall XP on the vista computer.
B: Put the XP hard drive back in the computer you took it from. ;)
