Static noise when i plug in monitor

I discovered that the static noise coming from my headphones/speakers is caused by an interference coming from my screen/monitor. It disappears when I unplug my monitor from the socket. What should I do?

First, carefully reseat the monitor cable at both ends with the system shutdown.

If no change, try another monitor cable, just to rule out some defective/marginally connected shields/grounds, etc...

Then, try another monitor....

Or a better shielded set of speaker cables....
