Hello toms, I have what I believe is a defective Asus Pro Gamer board, or incompatible Ddr3, and I have 32 GB of spare chips and a brand new FX-8350 and 1050Ti video card. What is a good motherboard that would be compatible with Ballistix Tactical Tracer ddr3 1866 Dimms and also support the 8350? I wasn't aware that ASUS is so picky about what ram is used and it HATES GSKILL. Pc parts picker is crappy because the boards compatibilty with Dimms is normally wrong. Any suggestions would be helpful

Memory is guaranteed in the form sold. You are free to go about using 32 GB of spare chips, however no memory manufacturer will guarantee compatibility for combinations other than the form in which the memory was originally sold.

Most all high-end AM3+ motherboards have been discontinued. Newegg has GIGABYTE GA-970A-DS3P (rev. 2.0) which has an AMD 970 Chipset but the power delivery on it is only a 4+1 phase power scheme not the high-end 8+2 power scheme.

You may want to check eBay for better models.
