Hi all,

This is my first pc build ever, but as an electrical engineer I have experience in working with electronics. After fully assembling the build it wouldn't POST, or output a beep code on a 16Ohm speaker connected to the motherboard, or display anything. When I press the power switch, GPU, CPU, system fan-s start spinning normally, and the ambient light of the MOBO turns on, doesn't seem to turn off any time after that, only after long press on the power switch. I tried the list: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/261145-31-perform-steps-posting-post-boot-video-problems but still no POST or beeps. Tried 3 different monitors, 3 different cables, HDMI/DVI outputs. Tried with different GPU (Sapphire PCIe HD4670) no difference. Everything is new, except the GPU, which was used by one of my friends, but he tested it 100% working. Took apart whole config few times, no bent pins, on CPU, no visible damage on the MOBO. Im guessing faulty MOBO or CPU, since with everything disassembled except CPU and MOBO, no beeps.

The build:
PSU: Corsair CX450M 450W
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-AB350-Gaming
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600X 3.6GHz
MEM: 8GB 2666MHz DDR4 RAM Kingston HyperX Fury Black CL15 (2x4GB)
M2SSD: 250GB Samsung 960 EVO Business M.2 SSD
GPU: ASUS ROG Strix RX 470

Thank you in advance!

Solution
Long story short: bios version was not compatible with the cpu, had to take it to someone with an older am4 socket cpu to update the bios. Now it works perfectly. The guy told me I was the 5th on this week with the same problem.
