Plz help me!

I was putting my cpu fan on (intel stock cooler) and I accidentally snapped 2 or 3 of the plastic prongs, if I use some electric tape at the back of the mobo will it be ok? (Will it burn, melt etc.)
Thanks

Ps I can’t buy another cooler right now

Solution
I wouldn't. I don't think it will melt but the heat will eventually make the glue loose and eventually the cooler may just fall off if the PC is standing upright. If the cooler falls off during use it would cost you a lot more than what a new cooler will. Electrical tape isn't designed for mounting things. I'd just wait and buy a cheap aftermarket cooler like the CRYORIG M9i.

Ok, so i tried to use the electrical tape. Lets just say you're right, it doesn't hold it up.
However i did try and see what happened when my pc is standing upright and i was gettings temps of 100 degrees but when it is lay down it is around 45 - 50
I have 6 fans in my case 3 intake and 3 exhaust.
any DIY stuff i could do to help it i have a spare case fan lying around etc.
Thanks
