Whenever I Play CS-GO, after 30 minutes of playing it crashes, and the sound gets stuck. I have to hard shut down the computer by holding in the power button and then turn it on again. My Full Specs are:
i7 920 2.67GHz cooled by Cooler Master Hyper TX3 EVO
8GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066MHz (max speed supported by CPU)
ASUS 2GB OC GTX 750Ti
Dell 0X501H Motherboard (X58 chipset)
475W stock PSU (that came with the prebuilt PC)
This was a full Dell Studio XPS 435T on which I upgraded the GPU and CPU cooler
I did have an overclock to the Graphics card which was stable in a number of games (GTA V, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Far Cry 3, Battlefield 3) but crashing issue was there only in CS-GO. I disabled the Overclock profile, still the same issue. Temps are normal as well. CPU is anywhere from 60°C to 65°C and GPU sits in the low 50°C range.
The crash seems like the computer runs out of memory, but i have 8GB and while idling, computer doesn't use more than 3GB and it is usually using 2GB always. so a game that can run max settings on 4GB RAM, this is strange. Also if it matters, I have latest updates from Windows 10 and latest Nvidia drivers. Case has 1 120mm intake in the front and a 92mm exhaust in the back (however don't this this matters as temps are fine.) Just trying to give as much info as possible. All games other than CS-GO work flawlessly.
