Okay guys , a month ago I purchased a Samsung Galaxy A8 2018 , it was a pretty crappy phone imo , so two days ago I exchanged it for a 6 month used Galaxy S8+ in mint condition from a big store , so it came with a box , didn't came with the original AKG earphones , and the USB connector and the original charging brick, so I was allowed to keep my A8+ accessories, so the problem came today that I noticed that the IMEI part on the box is faded away , also when I took it to a service centre where they mentioned it's an overseas model of the phone according to the IMEI , I checked the model online it showed that it's a global version of the phone , also the box said it can only use sim cards from my country only , I checked my IMEI no. On multiple websites , it says I own the original device , also itisnt blacklisted anywhere , I did hardware checks it says I own an authentic device , now I don't have the original bill , I only got the shop's bill from where I got the used device from ,now the main question is , should I be worried ? Samsung isn't giving me warranty because they believe it's an overseas model, also is fading away the IMEI on the box usual for seller to sell an used device? This is my first time buying an used device.
Thanks

The IMEI on the box is not much of an issue since the IMEI is stored in the device itself. You can note that on the box if you want.

The rest of the stuff, does the phone work? If it does, you got a used device, don't expect it to be perfectly documented.

if you have questions about where it came from or what it is, check with the store you got it from.
