Geforce Gtx 460 wont work

I am trying to install a Evga GeForce Gtx 460 but when I turn it on it makes a long beep sound and shows no output.
My specs are
Intel core i7-2600K CPU
Intel Family 3000
And a Asus monitor

Did a Google search on it and found nothing good about it.

I would recommend a 5-600 watt unit from tiers 1 ,2, or 3 listed here:
