Hello I am just wondering because I lost the power cord to my keyboard/piano and I wanted to know if it is safe to use this other plug I found that fit in the keyboard. The cord is 125 volts 10A 1250 w and the keyboard says that the power input is 120v 5260 Hertz and 20 W Max would it be safe to use this cord with the keyboard/piano?

Solution
If the "cord" you're talking about is "just a cord" - a cable without any boxes / bricks in between, then yes - you can use it.

I suppose you got confised between cable rating of 1250 watts (that is, whatever this cable powers should not draw more than 1250W), and your piano' 20 watts (that is, piano will draw no more than 20W off power outlet).

Oh ok. So then thats a definite yes right? Because it is just a straight 3 prong cord no boxes or anything. And for the watts part I was afraid that it was meaning that it was the other way around than what you just told me. So this does mean that it is safe to try plugging it in?
