Hey there.
I see this super cheap memory stick online, and I really don't expect to let it last long, I just need to make sure it's compatible with my board.

Here's my current set: 2x4GB https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZRG009S/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 // bought it 2 years ago

Here's what I want to get: 1x4GB

Mixing and matching RAM is tough - as there's no guarantees.

It should work on almost any DDR3 supporting motherboard.... by itself.
Will it work, paired with your existing RAM? Only way to know would be to try.



Actually, ran in spec, there's really no reason to expect it to last any less time than any other memory.
