Are you kidding me or does this thing really not connect to regular Bluetooth, and I have to spend another $25 to buy the USB wireless xbox controller receiver dongle?
There is supposed to be an advantage to using the XBox adapter instead of Bluetooth, it is supposed to have a lower latency. Now if it’s actually possible to tell the difference I don’t know.
Top pic = no bluetooth (plastic around the Xb button isn't part of the 'face')
Bottom pic = bluetooth (plastic around button is in one piece with the 'face'_
basically if your buying any "newer" xbox one controller you should be fine, if your using an older controller (for sure the one with the 35mm audio jack) then you will need the adapter.
