Hi guys!
I have a laptop with HDD and I decided to upgrade it with an m.2 sata ssd
as it is supported by asus site (I wanted to use them both together),
after connecting it there is no sign of SSD in bios or windows disk manager or even listed disks
for installing windows on them.

What I have done and didn't work:
1.updated bios
2.connections checked
3.I have tested when HDD and SSD were connected and when the SSD was connected only
4.I have disabled secure boot and CSM support from bios
5.enabled SMART
6.there is no new available update for ssd firmware.

I don't have any other PCs for checking the health of SSD(but the SSD is not used before).
by the way the m.2 port is sata as the manufacturer said.

system:
asus x510uq laptop
https://www.asus.com/Laptops/ASUS-VivoBook-15-X510UQ
M.2 SSD is ADATA SU800 256Gb
http://

thanks for your help!:)

Unplug all other drives. Connect new SSD.. If you have a windows disk or USB try to install windows onto it. Get to the disk partition section and partition it, format it. Cancel installation. Power down. Replug in old harddrive, boot into windows, check disk management again.
