I have been struggling to get my computer running stable for about a month now. I have ram at 2666 finally and the drivers are installed and a fresh windows 10 install of 1709. When trying to do almost anything I get the failure message and atikmpag.sys failure. I have no idea what to do next.
I have 2x4 corsair 3000mhz ram.
650 W psu
Ryzen 2200g
and a WD 1tb hdd.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I downloaded the windows installer on my laptop and made a boot disk with a jump drive. The only thing on the drive is the windows installer. I have installed windows about 10 times now. I delete the partitions of the internal Hdd and then install windows. I do this disconnected from the internet to keep from auto updating. I then install the drivers I downloaded from AMD from an external drive. I have tried just installing them from this machine but it crashes so much it is hard to get them to download and install in time.

I have an asrock ab350 pro4 and I checked my bios version and tried to update it right before getting on this forum. It said no updates available.

Yeah it could also be a motherboard issue because a Ryzen G will need a BIOS update before it can run properly on a B350 board.

I am running bios version 4.7
I had to get the boot kit from amd before even getting the 2200g to post.

Ok so next I need you to download memtest86 and run it on your memory to confirm that the memory is good.

Have downloaded memtest and I'm now about to run it and see what happens. Thanks for the help so far.

This brings up another question I have - what's the make and model of that 650W PSU you're using? That could possibly be a culprit in all of this.

Also - what BSOD code did it give you?

The Psu is a corsair cx650. The BSOD is a atikmpag.sys failure

Right now I am running a system file check. It was suggested by someone I don't remember who. I am replying on my phone and trying to do the corrections on the PC. I am not the most knowledgeable about building PCs. And I am not trying to overclock or anything crazy. I just want it stable enough to run something.

Can you follow option one here
and then do this step below: Small memory dumps - Have Windows Create a Small Memory Dump (Minidump) on BSOD

that creates a file in c windows/minidump after the next BSOD
copy that file to documents
upload the copy from documents to a cloud server and share the link here and someone with right software to read them will help you fix it :)

be surprised if SFC fixes it.

SFC is good to run, but being that you reinstalled Windows so many times the files "should" be good. I'm assuming the installer you downloaded came from Microsoft itself right? It downloads the latest files when you set up the installer.
