Best cpu for mobo

Motherboard: A68HM-PLUS
Current CPU: AMD A8-6600K APU
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1050 TI
I want to upgrade my cpu to pref the best cpu my mobo can get.
What is the best cpu for my mobo, and will i be able to run pubg with that plus my gpu?

The "best" CPU is probably an Athlon x4 880K but, the performance gains aren't going to be substantial.... so it's not really worth it.

The 6600K + 1050TI should certainly be able to run PUBG, just not the best experience.

There's nothing I'd recommend upgrading to on that platform.
