New to the community. Just wanting some clarification before I drop $200 on a new CPU. Like the title states, I'd like to replace my current r5 1400 with the 1600x. However, I'm wondering if it will actually be an improvement worth investing in with my current build (specs list below). From what I've been able to gather, it seems like my graphics card will cause bottleneck in terms of gaming. However, I also do video editing and 3D modeling, and I know (or at least think) that having more cores and threads should be beneficial in that regard.

TL;DR I'd like to know if the upgrade will improve gaming and productivity performance and if the amount of performance gained will be worth the upgrade. Thanks!

My Build:
Motherboard: MSI B350m Bazooka
RAM: 16gb DDR4 (2x8 @2400Mhz)
CPU: R5 1400 3.2ghz
GPU: RX 580 4gb DDR5
OS: Windows 10 Home (64-bit)
