Is the WDS250G1B0A SSD compatible with both SATA III and M.2?

I had bought this SSD in SATA III form factor for my old laptop. Now I am upgrading my laptop to MSI GS63 7rd and that laptop supports both SATA III and M.2 I would like to keep the stock 1TB HDD in SATA III and use this in M.2. Is it possible since WD provides this SSD in both form factors?

You would need to buy the M.2 Version as it is a much smaller size which would be this model: WDS250G1B0B, Or better yet the new 3D NAND M.2 version WDS250G2B0B
