Hello all,

I want to renew my hardware and in my case I have to buy HDD, memory, CPU and mboard. I would buy it all, but memory, memory prices are going crazy...

My choice: I5-8400 + MSI Gaming Plus Z370 + (memory: idk).. + some regular HDD

Is it worth to buy memory right now? or keep waiting until the prices drop? But dude, it seems that the prices not going to drop soon for memory ...

I have an actual SSD , but my HDD is kinda old (5 years haha)

You are wasting money on that Z370. The H370/B360's are coming out. Get one of those with the non-k 8400 and put the cash to the mem.

there is still benefit of having a z370 board, you can still take advantages of mem overclocking. i find there is very little difference in msrp between budget z380 and budget b360. you save a bit more during the mid range boards.
