After any overclock I do even the smallest amount the computer will fail to post the next time I try to start it. It will start up just fine when i restart the computer to apply the overclock but if I shut down the computer it wont boot back up after the first boot. I see people getting this i7 to 5ghz at 1.4v but I can't even 4.7ghz at 1.35v. Is there a setting in the bios that i'm supposed to turn off? Even if i don't mess with the CPU and just set the ram to 3200mhz it does the same thing. First thing I did was reseat my GPU and ram with no change. I've even tried to boot the computer with no USB attached. I feel like there is a setting that I'm just forgetting to change. If I could just run my CPU at 4.8ghz with a voltage of 1.32v I would be happy because it runs just fine like that even when I'm gaming but the computer wont post the next time I try to boot it up. I'm able to get the computer to boot up by removing the power cord and then pluging it back in and the computer will turn on no problem. But its strange that I don't even have to clear bios to get the computer to boot, just unpluging the power supply from the wall and plugging it back in fixes the issue for a single boot and then I have to do it evey time I boot.

I just read the post again. You should replace the CMOS battery. That is what maintains the BIOS settings when you unplug the system.
