So Hi :), So one of my friend has a AMD Phenom ii X4 955 (not BE) (no OC), and his birthday is coming soon(1 month), and i wanna buy a ASUS Cerberus GeForce GTX 1050 Ti OC for him, but i don't know anything about how much bottleneck he is going to have with this combo, but i know he will upgrade his setup soon (6-7 months), he's gonna buy a new MOBO, and CPU, and i know after that its not gonna be any problem to use a 1050 ti, but for this 6-7 month is it a problem to use it ?, and one more thing, this card has 2x80mm fan, i was looking more expensive 1050 ti-s and the have 90mm or even 100mm fans, does it make a way bigger difference ?, sorry for my English i know its not that perfect, i tried my best, thank u all :)

Solution
Any limit in performance depends on the game. Assassin's Creed Origins requires a lot more CPU power than CSGO. Assuming he doesn't have a compatibility issue with his current motherboard, it should be fine for the most part.

Generally better cooling means the card runs quieter. In a hot running card this could be the difference between a loud fan noise and a quiet computer. These cards are not particularly hot running, so two 80mm fans should be fine.

Hi Thanks for the info about everything, he is playing RPG-s MMO-s or ARPG-s most of the time, sometimes some Single Player Games (The Witcher 3, Metro 2033/Last Night, Fallout 3 (with the 1050 ti Fallout 4 too), so its gonna be okey for this couple months ?
