New Build Not Working

My pc does not turn on. I replaced motherboard, cpu, ram, and psu. There was smoke so thats why i replaced the parts. Is the problem the case when i press "on" or is the ssd the problem. I dont know anymore.

1. Can you boot your computer into bios? It will help if you list the spec of your computer.
2. If your computer power on but not boot into window, then you need to install fresh window since you replace motherboard and CPU.

Does not even boot into anything. Its dead. I7-8700, gtx 1070, thermaltake 750 psu, ddr4 16g ram, msi z370 motherboard

dead, as in no power where no lightson the MB come one or fans spin up? or dead as in getting a black screen?

Dead as in no power. I use the same outlet to.charge my phone, so i dont think its that or the new psu.

It turned on once, but never again. Its the same thing happened with the parts before the replacements.

from what you're describing it does sound like a dead PSU. make sure you have the PSU cables connected correctly. from the sounds of the last ones smoking you may have not connected the PSU cables to the right connections on it

it is possible any product you purchase is DOA. but in this case either your not connecting something right or you have bad luck. you build should at least be able to power on for a few seconds at least

Im just going to buy a new case. I really think there is something wrong with the power switch and reset connectors.
