Can someone explain this nonsense to me?

Recently i WC my 1080ti, had it for about a year,temps went down from 65c on load to 40c on load all perfect!

So i decided to OC my GPU and give it a test run on 3Dmark Time spy

Got a scored of 6988 which at the moment i was excited...come to find out last years result was 9194......nothing has changed except the OC settings...how is this possible to get a lower score?

Do graphics card really wear down after time? or is there something wrong with my OC settings?

All games are stable.

Those settings are all left standard except for power to prefer max and vsync off with gsync. Those settings really don't change much anyway i dont think. Those looking for benchmark titles probably set quality settings to performance to squeeze performance but wouldn't be drastic. So look else where like Win10 itself and the other things i mentioned.

Perhaps use ddu and reinstall gpu drivers.

Thats odd, i havent changed any settings

What are your 3D settings in the nvidia control panel?

I would like to compare and see
