Can speakers fry a PSU ?

hello, i might be asking a completely stupid question, but my PSU fried almost exactly as i got new speakers, a pair of creative t20 series ii.
so my paranoia is telling me it could be them that did it ???
its sounds completely stupid saying out laud, but i can get myself to use them since it happend :)

sure as shit hope so XD i mean i know there`s no powerflow between speakers and the computer ? that`s feed from the connecter the speakers them self got, but the soundcable is just signals from the pc to the speakers

and now its a 650W gold cerficicate thing.
samsung ssd,
