Surface scans showing different results?

Hi,
Don't want to make this too lengthy, as it may be painful to read.
I have a 3YR old SSD (Corsair Neutron XT 240GB), I was getting Intel rapid storage notifications alerting me that one or more errors are being reported with my hard drive.
So, in order to work out what was going wrong, I installed a program which I read was reputable online (HD Sentinel, Free version), and ran some tests.

I have 3 Storage devices in total, and all 3 drives saw the EXACT same results:
- 246 bad sectors
- 40 days to live
- 270 days power-on-time

Bear in mind, all 3 devices were bought months apart, 1 is a 240gb SSD, one is a 1TB HDD, and the other is a 500GB HDD.

I thought this was incredibly odd, and that the chances of such different drives showing such similar results were almost impossible, so i downloaded another 2 applications to compare results (EaseUS and another I cannot remember the name of, sorry).
These new applications showed a grand total of 5 bad sectors on my SSD, which is a huge difference to the HD Sentinel results.

So now I'm incredibly stuck, is my SSD about to die?

I'm asking this:
Is it likely that my SSD will be almost dead after 3 years of use, and has anyone else experienced bizarre results with HD Sentinel before?

EDIT: Corrected 7 yr old SSD to 3 years.

Thanks so much.

Hi

Have you checked in bios or uefi settings that smart test of disks at every start up
Is set on
It is frequently set off.

The disk firmware can sometimes do minor repairs to bad sectors so results can vary over time.

SSD drives are comparitively recent
7 years means it is a relatively old drive
when SSD disks die the chance of data recovery is very low

Does corsair provide any diagnostic software?
The manufacturer usually has the best diagnostic software

Hey,
First of all, thank you ever so much.

1. Great, thanks. I'll check and test the bios settings later, ill keep you posted.
2. I have just realized I was being extremely stupid and the SSD is 3 Years old....
3. The results varying over time shouldn't really matter I don't think, because i literally ran these tests minutes apart, but I'll keep that in mind.
4. I'll check for a diagnostic software from corsair, but I highly doubt they do to be quite honest with you.

Thanks so much!
