Good idle temps?

I have an AMD FX-6300 paired with an MSI 760GMA-P34, with a Corsair H60 Liquid Cooler.

Since installing the new cooler, my idle temps have been reduced drastically.

So with that being said, while idle is 13/14 Degrees Celsius a good temperature range?

I’d say roughly about 68 Degrees or so, give or take.

That seems a bit odd, your CPU temp, even while idle shouldn't be lower then your room temp unless your next to a open window or something. What software are you using to measure the temp?

Try AMD Ryzen Master.
https://www.amd.com/en/technologies/ryzen-master

Make sure you download the following "AMD Ryzen Master for All Other Ryzen Processors". Even though your CPU isn't a Ryzen the software replaces the older AMD Master Software.

Alright, I’ll give it a try! Also while I’m here, since I’ve gotten this new Liquid CPU Cooler, I’ve noticed when I try 4.2 GHZ even though the temperatures are only at 33 - 35 Degrees Celsius it’s overheating and shutting down my system? Any reason why, considering the max safe temperature is 65 Degrees Celsius.

It's probably overheating on the motherboard, I'm not entirely sure but if the MB VRM's can't handle the overclock then it may shut down.

Someone that knows the FX motherboards may be able to chime in and give be you a better answer but if it’s causing shutdowns I’d revert it back to stock to avoid damage.
