New PC owner overclocking question.

Hi guys,

So I finally got my first computer and built it myself watching videos and guides on Youtube. It's been a month now and I have finally decided to try overclocking to get the most out of my new PC.

The specs are as follows:

- Phanteks p400s
- Maximus Hero X WiFi
- Intel i5-8600k
- Kraken x62
- Trident Z RGB 2x8GB 3200MHz Memory
- Asus Strix 1070ti

Can anyone help me?

there are loads of guides available online, and im sure you will get good results, you have a great system . Just google overclocking 8600k and if you have any problems or more questions come back nd ask :)
maybe worth including your motherboard in your search.

Hi guys! Thanks for the response. I have found a post with regards to overclocking on the Asus website and followed it. However, after doing the benchmark the scores went down and I really have no idea if I did something wrong. I tried registering on the forums to create my own account but it is still pending for approval.
